A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE 1970 FIRST ISSUE, PARLOPHONE RECORD LABEL LP FROM THE IRISH FOLK/ROCK SINGER SONG WRITER, JONATHAN KELLY.

    Jonathan Kelly (born Jonathan Ledingham, 8 July 1947, Drogheda, County Louth) is an Irish folk rock singer-songwriter, who has enjoyed a varied career in music, playing with many musicians and groups, including Eric Clapton and Tim Staffell. He formed Jonathan Kelly's Outside in 1973. He played bass for Humpy Bong which featured former Bee Gees drummer Colin Petersen. The band did not progress but released one single, "Don't You Be Too Long". Kelly would then retain Petersen as his manager and release two albums through RCA, Twice Around the Houses and Wait til They Change the Backdrop.

  Both record labels are in Near Mint condition, undamaged, bright record labels, showing a couple of play signs.

  Side 1 stamped matrix: YEX 801-1G and Side 2: YEX 802-1G

  Side 1 stampers: 1 G. and Side 2: 1 R

  Both sides of the LP are in beautiful Near Mint condition,  stunningly clean and bright vinyl surfaces to both sides, all that is barely visible are a couple of insignificant hairlines.

 
Audio Quality:

  As expected the LP plays through with superb Stereo sound quality.

  The LP comes in it’s original EMI Inner record bag, and is protected in it’s Garrod & Lofthouse, textured picture sleeve.

  The sleeve is in nice Excellent Minus condition, with mild signs of record storage and light age toning.
