Description

Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’

Fantastic West Coast punk 12” from 1983...and in near mint condition. Complete with rare insert. Original first US pressing in original cardboard sleeve. Issued on mini-punk label 'American Standard' records in 1983. As you know, also the extremely good WHO CARES sampler (1981) was released on that private label. This JONESES release was given 8 of 10 points by the great FLEX website (US Hardcore / Punk Discography). As additional I have inclosed the comment from the FLEX:

  • american standard records. as 1003 / 6 tracks / 1983

  • Four of the songs are great west coast punk, noisy, driving and melodic; Criminals is a real KBD hit. The other two tracks have more RnR influence, not too interesting. A great record nonetheless. Loud raunchy guitar driving r-n-r with hints of rockabilly in the vein of Zeros or Dead Boys. The forerunner for The Humpers, Devil Dogs etc. Highlights are Criminals, Ms. 714 and the rockabilly song Bedrock. Also a cover of Crocodile Rock that blows the orginal out of the water. [8]

  • Tracks: criminals / bedrock / fix me // white and pretty / crocodile rock / ms. 714

Condition / Zustand: EX/M- (very clean, sehr gut erhalten)
