BRISTOLS No.1 RARE RECORD SHOP *Item for sale* JONI MITCHELL ~ Same ~ UK ORIGINAL 1968 STEAMBOAT LABEL STEREO RSLP 6293
This is a very clean first UK pressing of Joni Mitchells' self-titled first lp from 1968,
sometimes referred to as "Song to a seagull".
First pressings in the UK came with the original Canadian heavy card gatefold sleeve, with
fully printed lyrics inside the gatefold. So the cover stated Printed in Canada, whilst the
labels state made in England.
The matrix and stampers read: RSLP 6293A-1*G STEREO J 1/ RSLP6293B-1*G STEREO 1L The outer cover is extremely clean, uncreased, with crisp corners and spines. The inner
gatefold is also very clean, just a little wear near the bottom on each side, very light.
The labels are dirt free and there are just a couple of light spindle marks on the side two
label. The vinyl surfaces are very clean, there's one very small mark on side one track
two, otherwise very lightly played, it looks lovely. Not stone mint, but not far away.
