MEGARARE original TOP RANK INTERNATIONAL Records, very first Mono press released in Chile in 1960 by Corporación De Radio De Chile S.A. (CRC Records), with white/red Top Rank Records labels, catalog number TR-1050, with machine etched matrix numbers TR-1050-A T1 in Side A and TR-1050-B T1 in Side B. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER GREAT FIND FROM CHILE!!!

This is a rare single pressed in Chile in the original year of release!!! Not many records of the period were released in Chile the same year and this is one of those rare cases it did. The song titles are written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits and price informed in the Side A, Eº0,99. An interesting fact about this Chilean issue is that here in Chile the songs are inverted, because “Apache” is the original Side A, but we got it like the Side B of “Echo Boogie”!!!

This single comes in a generic cover which it’s in good condition. Record is in VG condition, it’s glossy and clean but with loads of hairlines, scuffs and some light scratches and a slight factory warp, which don’t affect sound. Labels are in great EX- or even EX condition, clean and clear, with mild wear, light age browning and a writing in the Side B. Sound is in VG- or VG condition both sides, with a soft background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), but loud and clear, with constant light crackles, which of course don’t cause major distraction from the great sound this single keeps. Overall a MEGARARE record with still a decent look, not for Minty minds, and with a respectable sound quality considering it’s about 52 years old!!! No distortions, no jumps, no clicks, a nice sound from the beginning to the end!!! And keep in mind the fact the songs are in the opposite sides of the original issue!!! And, yes Sirs, WHAT A FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide: 

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP7 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
