Description

Up for auction is a rare lp featuring:

JOSEPH SZIGETI Violinist / MIECZSLAW HORSZOWSKI, Pianist performing BRAHMS: Sonata No. 1 in G Major for Violin and Piano, Op. 78 ("Rain") Sonata No. 3 in D Minor for Violin and Piano, Op. 108

This lp was released on Columbia Masterworks Records as ML 5266. Original 6-Eye logo / Original US Pressing of one of the most sought after recordings of Szigeti.

Condition:
Vinyl is in NEAR MINT/NEAR MINT- condition.
Due to time constraints this LP was visually graded under very bright light. As with most vinyl in this genre, there may be some light surface noise heard, especially during quiet passages.

Album Cover is in nicely preserved state with nice and tight binding. There is some light shelf wear and rubbing along edges to note. There is also previous owners name written in blue pen on back near top of cover with a date of 1960.
Lp is also in its original Columbia factory inner sleeve, which has helped to preserve this album to its solid state!
