Up for sale in this auction is a great classical record of violinist Joseph Szigeti with the London Symphony Orchestra being conducted by Antal Dorati entitled, "Violin Concerto in D - Beethoven"! Pressed by Mercury Living Presence as SR90358. Dark red center labels that are clean and free of writing. Vinyl is in VG to VG+ shape (much closer to VG+) with some very light/faint marks present, and some very slight/minor fogging of the vinyl near the edge of the record. The scratches are not very deep but must be noted for completeness. If this was a rock record I would rate it at VG+ but since the tones of the music is much more complex and dynamic I have rated it in between VG and VG+. Jacket is in VG to VG+ shape with strong seams. The reason I have rated in between VG and VG+ and not VG+ is solely because of the marker underlining Beethoven on the front of the jacket, and some red ink stamping on the back. The jacket has some minor and light edge/corner wear and some light discoloration/yellowing but I would still rate it at VG+ without the ink and marker. The jacket structurally is in VG+ shape with strong seams.

• M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
• NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
• VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
• VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
• VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
