Few records have inspired as much lore as 'Stand On The Word', but all the myth-making would be meaningless if the music itself didn't hit this hard. Thankfully, it does, and flawlessly so. Long surrounded by debate over authorship and versions, it's now widely accepted that this was Tony Humphries' vision from the start and this 12" finally does it justice. Multiple mixes are presented here, including the original studio take with its unmistakable synth and guitar layers alongside Humphries' legendary club extension.
