JOURNEY “Evolution” 1979 Day of Release WHITE LABEL PROMO! NM Pristine Vinyl!
45 year old day of release white label promo of this classic Journey Lp! Pressed at the CBS Santa Maria plant, the vinyl looks pristine and presents as un-played, with no spindle marks. The cover is intact, a little shelf wear on the bottoms, and small corner dings. No major creases or losses. There is a white timing strip on the cover, and a gold promo stamp on the rear top left corner. The black glossy inner sleeve has a 3 inch seam split on the bottom, but is intact with no tears. Liner notes on one side, band photos on the other. Overall, a really nice vintage promotional copy.
The fifth studio album for Journey, released March 1978. Produced by rock maestro Roy Thomas Baker (Queen, Cars, Cheap Trick, Devo, and more). Sales of over 3 million in the US, and the bands first pop hit single “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’”. The voice himself, Steve Perry shines on the album.
Photos are of actual copy for sale.
