JOY DIVISION
AN IDEAL FOR LIVING EP
(Enigma PSS 139 UK 1978)
The original first pressing of this legendary band's debut 7" EP released in 1978
and one of the rarest punk 45's in the world right now.
The disc is near impossible to find these days as a result.
Containing the classic tracks:
Leaders of Men, Failures of The Modern Man, Warsaw and No Love Lost.
Printed onto card stock and folded into 4 panels.
This original pressing has a serrated edge around the outside rim of the label.
Run out grooves are etched as:
PSS-139-EP-A1-EG
PSS-139-EP-B1-EG
Disc: NEX Unobtrusive light background crackle only.
Sleeve: NEX Minor edge wear, and minimal yellowing considering its age. Light creasing and light foxing to top edge. Back sleeve
top edge has a 3mm tear and similar creasing to the front top edge.
Other Identifiers of this original copy:
Centre spindle of side 2 label has a small paper crease/tear at 5' clock
Side 1: very light hairline across track 1 (see photo)
Side 2: small scratch at run in on disc (see photo)
Sleeve: back sleeve: small 3 mm tear at top opening
Front sleeve: light yellowing to top edge with a few light creases and light wear.
The original paper inner sleeve has beginning of small split to bottom edge.
The disc will be sent in a new sleeve when sending along with the original paper inner of course!
