Up for auction is a museum-grade, Factory Sealed first pressing of Joy Division’s iconic 12" single, Atmosphere. This is the original 1980 US release (Facus 2), which notably features She's Lost Control as the A-side and Atmosphere as the B-side—a configuration unique to this early pressing.

Sleeve: Still sealed in its original factory shrinkwrap. The sleeve is crisp with sharp corners.

Provenance: Features a vintage "Rock Import" price sticker from May 1981 ($4.49), further verifying its status as an original 1980s New Old Stock item.

Vinyl: Presumed Mint (M). As a first US pressing, there is a high probability this was pressed on the famous "translucent" virgin vinyl used by RTI at the time (often appearing dark brown or purple when held to a strong light), though as it is sealed, this remains a hidden treasure for the winning bidder.
