JOY DIVISION CLOSER Factory 80 A2B2 Translucent orig Vinyl LP EX FACT.25
UK original with textured sleeve, square card inner sleeve & Oll Blue? Inscribed in runout grooves.
SLEEVE has a couple of very small foxing stains, is textured & generally very very nr EX condition but very prone to wear this item & this is a very nice example.
INNER SLEEVE is stunning & EX condition with a couple of small brown spots,
LABELS have a couple of spindle marks, no writing & pretty much EX condition.
VINYL is EX condition with a few very light surface hairlines noticeable under a lamp. Performs superbly throughout.
Album is a slightly orangy red translucent colour when held to a lamp. My research leads me to believe that the record could possibly be pressed in Ireland according to discogs. Has Townhouse inscribed in run out grooves.
Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve. Item 750
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.
With a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The L'art du son mix seems to smooth out any
brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
