Up for auction today I have the MEGA RARE Live LP by the band JOY DIVISION titled DEATH. This LP was released in 1985 in Itay and is limited to only 500 copies ever. This LP captures the band at the Bowden Vale Youth Club, Altricham 3/14/79 as well as an extra song The Eternal recorded at the ULU, London 2/08/80. I have had this record in my personal Joy Division collection for 21 years. I hate to part with it but I need to raise some funds, so it is time to go. I would rate both the vinyl/cover as EX- . It has been stored in my collection with a plastic cover protector 21 years and I played it twice in 1985 and it has been stored in my collection ever since. An interesting note about this item: I was at the record store with my buddy awaiting this item to arrive. This was one of my very first live Joy Division items that I bought back in '85 and the record store got 2 copies of this release. Me and my buddy bought both copies the day that they arrived at the store but my copy had a sticker on the bottom right side of the sleeve (a black and white sticker that says Joy Division with the cover art of Unknown Pleasures) cover (please see picture). Although I have never seen another copy of this LP again, I remember that my buddies cover did not have the sticker and he was a bit mad that mine was different. Not sure if other copies had this extra cover sticker but I know that my does. Maybe some had it and some didn't...not really sure. You might know more about this item than me. I won't ramble on as you probably know how rare this item is already.
