Labels are the sensational black / silver anonymous format in near mint condition!!.With the anonymous logo above the spindle hole on both labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has only 3 or 4 very minor spindle lines, to indicate that the record has possibly only had 2 or 3 very careful plays!! With NO damage of any kind.NO graffiti , NO rips, NO tears, and NO sticker marks whatsoever!!! and would therefore grade as near mint!!
Vinyl
Original 1st pressing vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees, There are NO surface marks,NO scratches or blemishes at all!! Only a few tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!.A stunning visual and impossible to locate in this condition!!!.Would therefore grade as excellent+!!
Sleeve
First issue front laminated sleeve is Showing only very minor signs of storage wear at the edges and corners, with a little staining to the reverse (see pictures) The sleeve has NO rips, NO tears, NO graffitti or stickers whatsoever!!!.The sleeve is in very good++ condition!!! and a Fantastic collectors item. The Spine is perfectly straight and clearly legible. This is a fine example of this sensational punk / indie classic.

An Ideal for Living is the debut EP released by Joy Division in 1978, shortly after changing their name from Warsaw.
All tracks were recorded at the Pennine Sound Studios, Oldham, on 14 December 1977. A 7" version was released in June on the band's own Enigma Records label (not to be confused with the American record label of the same name), followed by a 12" version in October on Anonymous Records. All tracks were re-eleased on the band's 1988 singles compilation Substance.
