Rare Tolkein reads and sings The HOBBIT and the Fellowship of the Ring
Side A The HOBBIT Chapter V, Riddles in the dark Side B, The Fellowship of the Ring  The record is based on a tape recording that Tolkein made when he was staying in my house in Malvern. It was August 1952.... For the whole summer he has been depressed because Lord of the Rings, the book on which he had worked on for 14 years had been refused by publishers so he had almost given up on ever seeing it in print...... GEORGE SAYER 
Overall condition is very good. Some minor damage to outer sleeve. Inner plastic sleeve is torn and creased. Record is in Excellent Condition  Payment
