J.R.R. Tolkien Reads And Sings The Hobbit And Fellowship Of The Ring L.P.. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
This record is based on a tape recording that J.R.R. Tolkien made when he was staying at George Sayer's house in 1952. It is published by Caedmon records and the reference number is TC 1477. Side A is just under half an hour long and is taken from Chapter 5 of The Hobbit, Riddles in the Dark. Side B contains extracts from The Fellowship of the Rings. See pictures for track listings.
The record is in very good condition, with no visible scratches. I no longer possess a record player so can't test it. The outer sleeve is in good condition with wear to corners, edges and a couple of small areas on the front but in good condition for a record almost 50 years old. There is a very small puncture on the base: see pictures. The inner sleeve is creased but intact. See picture.
