J.S. Bach Cello Suites Paul Tortelier 3 LPs HMV SLS 1077723
Cellist Paul Tortelier plays “Cello Suites” of J.S. Bach. A 3 LP set, this is a German stereo pressing on the HMV Label (SLS 1077723). The records are of immaculate appearance, and the box and booklet are the same.
These records are a part of a collection of records that had never been played. Some are sealed*, some have a store seal** and the rest are in mint condition.
* very few records outside the U.S. were ever shrink wrapped and it was only toward the end of the LP Era that this became common.
**Some record stores in Australia before being placed on their racks would attach a seal, either to the opening of the cover, or over the inner bag.
