For sale is J. S. Bach: The Goldberg Variations by Glenn Gould on Piano and Klavier. It was released in 1982 by CBS Masterworks Digital. It is the first pressing with a gate-fold presentation that I bought used and immediately put it into a record storage box. It was then put into storage under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity. The origial inner sleeve is included in Near Mint condition. The cover is graded as Near Mint. Between the labels and the last tracks are etched the matrix numbers 1-EB/1BL, followed by "G1", indicating that later stampers were used to pres this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant located in Carollton, Georgia. This signifies state-of-the-art engineering, much valued by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint for Side One, but Excellent for Side Two because of a very fine line surface scratch, probably a sleeve mark. Overall, I'm visually grading this classic as Excellent. This is one of the best copies of this hard to find records and you would be hard pressed to fine another in this condition. A great addition to anyone's collection. I have more Classical records, as well as albums of all different genres, listed in by Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
