Julian’s Treatment  “A Time Before This“ war ein Musik Projekt des britischen Poeten und Science Fiction  Autors Julian Savarin. Das Konzept Doppel Album  wurde von

Miki Dallon produziert und ist mit seinem orgellastigen Sound, ein absoluter Klassiker des Psych / Prog Rock.

Die vier Platten sind in unterschiedlichem Zustand. Seite 1  “Very Good +“ / Seite 2 “Very Good” / Seite 3 “Very Good +” Seite 4 “Good”.

Die Platten wurden mit Kopfhören geprüft, beim Abspielen über Lautsprecher waren das angeführten Nebengeräusche geringer wahrnehmbar.

Seite 1 Sieht sehr gut aus hat keine auffälligen Kratzer, nur feine Spuren, vermutlich vom Herausziehen aus der Hülle. Sehr leises Knistern in den Pausen und an ruhigen  Stellen.

Seite 2 Sieht ebenfalls recht gut aus, hat aber einen ca. 2cm langen Kratzer, der sich durch leises Knacken bemerkbar macht.

Seite 3 Sieht sehr gut aus, keine auffälligen Kratzer nur feine Spuren, vermutlich vom Herausziehen aus der Hülle. Sehr leises Knistern in den Pausen und an ruhigen Stellen.

Seite 4 Sieht zwar auch noch einigermaßen aus, hat aber einen leichten und einen langen Kratzer (fast über die ganze Seite), der in der 2.Hälfte recht böse aussieht. Erstaunlicherweise sind die vom Kratzer verursachten Geräusche, gar nicht so schlimm wie optisch zu befürchten wäre. Kein sehr lautesKnacken, sondern eher ein wischendes Knistern an den leiseren Stellen. Das Label hat einen großen hellen Fleck (siehe Foto).

Das Cover würde ich vorsichtshalber als “Good“ bezeichnen. Es sind keine umgeknickten Ecken vorhanden, die Laminierung hat sich auch noch nicht abgelöst und es gibt auch keine Risse.. Leider sind  aber die Ränder an diversen Stellen abgeschabt. Dafür ist das Innere des Klappcovers noch in recht gutem Zustand.

Julian's Treatment " A Time Before This " was a music project of the British poet and science fiction author Julian Savarin . The concept double album, with its organ dominated sound, produced by Miki Dallon, was an absolute classic in psych/prog rock .

The four sides are in varying condition. Page 1 "Very Good +" / Page 2 "Very Good" / Page 3 " Very Good + " Page 4 " Good" .
The plates were tested with headphones, when playing through speakers was the  cracling much lesser .

Page 1 Looking good has no noticeable scratches, only fine tracks, probably from being pulled out of the envelope. Very faint crackling in the breaks and on quiet parts.
Page 2 looks also quite good, but has a 2cm long scratch, which is noticeable as faint clicking noise .
Page 3 Looks good, no noticeable  scratches, only fine tracks, probably from being pulled out of the envelope. Very faint crackling in the breaks and on quiet parts.
Page 4 Looks even not that bad , but has one light and one Long scratch (almost all over the page ), wich looks in the 2nd half pretty bad. Amazingly, the causing scratches noise is not that bad, as feared visually . Not a very loud crack , but rather a wiping crackle to the quieter places. The Label has a large bright spot ( see photo).
The cover I would describe as a precaution "Good" . There are no bent edges present, the lamination has also not yet been replaced and there are no cracks .. Unfortunately, however, the edges are scraped in various places . But the inside of the hinged cover is still in fairly good condition .
