Beautiful copy of the original 1957 mono pressing of Julie London's Make Love to Me LP on Liberty LRP-3060. This is maybe the rarest of all of her records, and along with the first album one of her best. The arrangements by Russ Garcia give her lots of room and breathy space, just like on the sparse and smokey first album... her vocals are so naked and vulnerable in a way that makes this album extra intense and intimate. Really a fantastic masterpiece that shows off her style way bette than on her later clumsy and brash albums. Anyhow an original pressing is hard to come by in good shape, and this is a beautiful copy. For the most part it plays absolutely flawlessly and beautifully, but there is one mark on side one that makes a very light tick during the song A Room With a View. Other than that it plays just gorgeously. The cover is stunningly immaculate, with only the slightest shelfwear. A truly gorgeous copy.
