JULIE LONDON sings LATIN IN A LATIN MOOD    LIBERTY  LRP 3278  MONO

I can easily understand why Julie has so many record collecting fans - even now when so many other million selling artists seem passe and out of fashion.  She is among a select group of female popular vocalists that takes every song seriously, understands the sentiment of the lyrics she's singing and NEVER trivializes the material.  Julie sings what she means and means what she sings.  It also doesn't hurt that she has a very pleasantly unaffected voice with lots of resonance and beautiful tone.  Another thing about her recordings - the guys in charge of the controls ('Snuff' Garrett on this one), really put forth their best efforts to produce a musical setting of the utmost quality.  Even though this is the Monophonic version, I had to double check the LP cover to confirm this wasn't a Stereo copy - it's that rich and vivid.  On this one, imagine Herb Alpert and a select few of the TJB band providing a nice, subtle and relaxed treatment to support the smooth singing of Julie - great stuff!

Vinyl - Near Mint        actually this looks unplayed except for a light sleeve scuff between tracks 1 and 2 on Side B.  Because of that, I had to check it out to make sure that there was no modulation.  There isn't - gorgeously quiet throughout.  Then I got to digging the music so much, I went ahead and enjoyed the rest.  So much for unplayed - but it's a real gem!

Jacket -  Very Good Plus        very light general shelf wear.  The seams and spine are solid - although the paper is a bit fragile in spots.  There's a little wear spot on the very bottom left corner where the spine and bottom seam come together. Comes with the original Liberty inner sleeve.

Things I'd like you to know:

Low starting prices don't = low quality! The minimum grade vinyl I'll list is VG but in most instances they range from VG++ / NM- to NM or M- (Goldmine Reference Standards)

• Buy Confidently – any reason you're not satisfied – I PROMISE to make it right, just tell me.

• I value communication. Don't hesitate to contact me via eBay messages for more information, clarification or product details.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS – WE LOVE YOU!!!

Email me (through 'Contact Seller') and I will quote shipping for you.

I NEVER do 'Reserve' Pricing. It's silly (IMO), and I won't subject you to it!

I'm not paranoid, I don't have a chip on my shoulder, I don't jump to conclusions, don't have a defensive attitude about buyers ( I still am one ), and I don't breathe down buyers' necks for payment. If you need an invoice – let me know - I'll be happy to prepare one, but other than that – if you want to continue shopping and combine auction wins, please just drop me a quick note. Bottom line – hassle free shopping.

SHIPPING NOTES:

Green Shipping To conserve energy and provide fast shipment, I take purchases to the Post Office at least twice a week – usually 3 times. This way you will never have more than a 48 / 84 hour gap between payment and shipping.

All orders packed in LP Shipment grade mailing boxes.  I don't construct my own - these are legit and virtually Post Office proof.  The inside of the mailer is safely reinforced with recycled cardboard and / or Bubble wrap or Poly padding.

SPECIAL NOTE: Until further notice, I have a small number of sturdy mailing boxes that will accommodate 10 -12 LP's – so if you want to save a bundle on shipping and would like to combine several auction wins – please be my guest.

Media Mail is not the horror flick that it was to a degree - at one time. USPS has become better aware that eBay is a principal reason for their continued existence.

Because I ALWAYS provide delivery confirmation to you FREE of charge, you can track it periodically. Having said that – now and then, USPS can get a case of the slows - so, I will gladly, per your request, provide Priority shipping as an option at a similarly reasonable cost.

If you know you'll want Priority, please kindly alert me before you pay for the item.

I'll combine shipping:

Each additional LP up to 12 total, will be just .60 cents extra.

I'll be listing hundreds more in a diverse range of musical styles in coming weeks, so bookmark a listing and check back in.
