JULIO FRADE – MUSICA EN SERIO / SONDOR 44.012 / 1973 / Scarce original Uruguay pressing. Julio Frade has been all through many years a master musician conducting many orchestras supported by the most well known musicians from the Uruguay scene. Though he was an extremely famous pianist, he could never expose his own musical personality until the release of the present album that features a fine selection of well played & arranged jazz & bossa standards. Super fragile flip back jacket is Vg++, has no writings or splits, spine looks fine & light overall wear and some yellowish on back Disc is Vg/Vg+ , with just cosmetic thin hairlines, nothing deep, just thin lines result of sliding it in and out of the sleeve, keeps its original gloss, plays fine with some occasional light pops & tics and subtle surface noise actually due to the low quality pressing, even so it allows an enjoyable listening experience.
