NOTE ON GRADING. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. As a bookseller for over 35 years, we get records & cd's on a regular basis & are used to grading. We grade visually in the office in bright light often by consensus & regularly play sections to just test or if warranted by a deeper scratch or questionable surface, our gradings are as fair & accurate as possible & as grading is often so very subjective, if you don't agree we won't get into any bartering or give any partial refunds, period. If we rate NM or better or the record is very expensive we will have played it through.

NOTE ON RETURNS, PLEASE READ., Like most long time sellers, we do not consider the odd pop, tick, light background here and there, a tiny skip on a track as major flaws on older 50+ yr old used vinyl, unless rated NM, they're the norm & most collectors/buyers are well aware of this, we don't expect comebacks on this kind of thing, however we will take returns in the same packaging for a refund if you're not happy with the minor aging or our visual grading misses a major playing flaw such as repeated skipping or groove sticking, ongoing loud worn background or loud regular pops/noises. Returns checked on our office turntable. Covers are scanned which should tell the story.

NOTE-When we say played, it means selected passages not the whole record.

NOTE COLLECTORS OUR VINYL RATINGS ARE MAINLY FOR SOUND! NOT! FOR THE NORMAL GENERALLY MILD INCONSEQUENTIAL SURFACE HANDLING LINES/RUBS NORMAL FOR 60 YEAR OLD LPS WHICH WE DESCRIBE.

ALL HAVE GENERIC INNER SLEEVES UNLESS AN ORIGINAL INDICATED

Rare 1954 1st press nice playing copy NOT a hi end copy. No returns, comebacks, negs please, take 'as is' to enjoy or just pass

CAPITOL  RECORDS, #H516 1954,  1st mono 10" pressing. Generic sleeve. Nice decent collectible condition for the enthusiast NOTE though not top flight so condition buffs be warned..

Famed early 50's vocal album from June Christy. Reissued as a 12" some years later with additional tracks, this is the much rarer collectible 1st 1954, 10" pressing. Pete Rugolo orchestra.

The album is a jazz vocal classic incls Midnight Sun, I Should Care, Lonely House, Something Cool ++++

Record still shiny near clear with a few light handling surface lines/rubs, played through very well with some light background, vocal and sound coming over very nicely near VG(+)

Sleeve front still quite glossy, tape on the top seam, a little at the bottom front edge, hint of ring, edges/corners pretty good, scuff loss at top right corner back clean, scuffed paper loss at top left corner general toning/handling soil else VG or a bit better.

Collectors know how scarce and collectible this 1954 10" classic is. NOTE this is a decent playing copy for the collector with a VG sleeve, not a hi end copy so NO CONDITION NUTS please. In a glossy acetate/vinyl collectors album dust cover
