Description
Artist: JUNIOR MANCE TRIO
Title: “Live At The Village Vanguard”
Label: JAZZLAND (Riverside subsidiary). Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl. Label is orange with black text, with deep groove. Textured cover. Catalog number is JLP 41.
Year: 1961.
Personnel: Junior Mance – piano; Larry Gales – bass; Ben Riley – drums.
Note: This album comes from an extremely well cared-for jazz collection where the original owner cherished his albums, played them once or twice at most, and stored them under optimal conditions. This is a fantastic opportunity for the collector who insists on mint condition.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, as clean as can be found. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, perhaps played once. Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity. Labels are clean and pristine with no spindle marks.
JACKET: Jacket (not laminated) jacket is nice VG+ to VG++. Front art work is exceptionally clean and bright. Reverse is clean except for some very light signs of surface wear beginning to appear. Bottom left corner is dinged. There is a date stamp at bottom right corner (“MAR 1963”). Overall a very fine jacket to accompany the superb disc.
