Description
Here we have an unusually nice 10" copy of Jack Webb of Dragnet fame performing Production Number 999, The Christmas Story on ghost dog black label RCA LPM 3199 LONG PLAY. Ben Alexander plays Frank Smith, Walter Schumann orchestra and voices, Scoring by Nathan Scott. This was the first COLOR TV show on a major network!
This story is based on an earlier (23 years prior) true story of the theft of the Christ Child from it's altar in the Lady of Victory Church in San Francisco. The church here is Lady Queen of Angels Church in Los Angeles.
I bought this on ebay to record, which I have now done. It is awesome!! There is some light background noise that sounds like a yule log in the precinct.
The collection has been well maintained and most are in VG+ to NM with rare background noise, rarer tics, and hardly a pop.
Condition: Overall VG+ THICK Record Looks and plays VG+ (some background noise), Labels NM, Cover VG+ (NICE SPINE, bottom seam splitting)
