Description

Jackie Lee - White Horses    (Phillips Records SBL 7851). Rare 1968 12-track UK album in flipback glossy sleeve by sixties session singer Jacky aka Jackie Lee.
Originally the lead singer of girl group The Raindrops Irish-born singer Jackie Lee was more successful as a session singer, including two number one hits - Green green grass of home (Tom Jones) and Release me (Engelbert Humperdinck) and a number of other major hits. She recorded a series of pop and Northern Soul singles in the 1960s but her first and most famous hit was White horses, the theme to the cult children's TV series.
