Jackie McLean Quintet ' Presenting ' AD LIB ADL 6601 (USA) The New Tradition vol.1 - red-black label with deep groove - issued in 1955 - this is the first Jackie McLean's record, very rare - on the trail off (dead wax) has the RVG for Rudy Van Gelder

Visual grading : record is VG to VG+ still much lustre has several wispy lines and a few more evident light scratches. One of them, on track 1 of side A, is short but feelable. Clean labels with some light spindle marks. Playing grading : record is VG to VG+ on side A which plays well with loud and clear sound. On track 2 there are about 12 light repeated ticks well below music's level. Side B is EX plays very well has just a few very light occasional ticks. To be noted that this recording is outstanding and shows the typical powerful sound of the legendary engineer Rudy Van Gelder Cover grading : cover is Good- has wear to corners, edges and to spine. Spine and bottom edge have evident sticker's traces removal . Some ringwear on front and light rubbing on back. Also two small stamps on top right corner on back. Unfortunately left edge on back has two evident small cardboard pieces missing in the middle (see pic).
