Description
New Soil Jackie McLean Blue Note ST-84013 King Japanese pressing
Recorded 1959
Donald Byrd (t), Jackie McLean (as), Walter Davis Jr (p), Paul Chambers(b), Pete LaRoca (d)
Hip Strut, Minor Apprehension, Greasy, Sweet Cakes, Davis Cup
The cover is M- with minor wear and denting at corners. The record is VG++. There is a scuff on the last tune on side 2 which did not damage the grooves. The scuffed area played quiet and nice. No OBI and no insert.
I grade visually using the Goldmine grading code which is M, M-, VG++ (or EX), VG+, VG, G, F, P. The highest grade I use is M-. I spot play any potential problem areas and try to grade conservatively. You will be satisfied and no hassles.
