THIS RECORD IS FROM OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION. Well maintained. Very Rare.
*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.
Record Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. Just listened to both sides of the whole album and it plays nicely. It is from our personal collection. Little to no surface noise at all. A few surface scratches that have no effect on music other than an occasional pop, no distractions. Difficult to find this rare vintage mono recording in such nice condition. (see pictures)
Jacket Grade VG+ = Shiny, clean, well maintained. No staining. No writing. No tape. Has been kept in plastic. Stamp on rear jacket reads "Inspected by No. 2". Glossy. Comes with the original paper insert with artwork from ABC Paramount. Top left corner has dent at entry point from shelf wear. A very clean jacket for a 52 year old album. (see pictures)

"The Song Is Paris" is an album by American jazz vocalist and guitarist Jackie Paris recorded in 1962 for the Impulse! label.
The Allmusic review by Jason Ankeny awarded the album 4 stars stating "Because he was never a showy or self-indulgent vocalist, Paris never received the acclaim he deserved, and the subtlety of a record like The Song Is Paris further underlines just how deceptive his music can be".
