Description

This five-day auction is for a rare UK pressing of the Jacskon C Frank LP (Columbia Records 33SX 1788, mono 1965).

Produced by Paul Simon, it contains the track Blues Run The Game, said to have been probably the single biggest influence on Nick Drake.

The laminated flipback sleeve (G&L) is in at least VG condition with some light creasing and some discolouring to the rear. The laminate is largely in fine condition. The vinyl is FAIR, well played with several marks. Labels are VG with some spindle marks.

We're not going to over-hype this item - it looks a bit sullied with age - and we have erred on the side of caution with our gradings - at a push, you could argue it's an EX/G. The main thing is it plays well (it's a '60s mono Columbia and they always sound better than they look) and if you're looking for a passable copy of a grade-one folk artefact without breaking the bank, this may be worth a punt!
