Auction is for SERIOUS Collectors ! ! !

I have collected Statesmen LP's for 54 years! In that period of time I've paid $60 to $90 each for many of the albums I placed in my collection. Time has come to wrap up our plans for retirement, and honestly I don't want to carry these LP's around the country with me ... nor store them & never see them!

My choice is to offer them to serious collectors of the Statesmen & the Genre.

Of course I realize the prices I am asking are FAR above what the local Thrift Store charges ... but I am talking about SEALED and Near-Mint albums that have been properly cared for.

Each sealed LP will be shipped in TIGHT carefully-prepared cardboard ... and albums that are open will be placed in a plastic slipcover before packaging. ALSO: open LP's all have paper liners.

RECORD RATING GUIDE

Be sure to know this major point...
A "scuff" may be seen by the eye, a "scratch" may only be felt by the hand!!!

MINT = SEALED / UNOPENED...never been touched by Human Hand
MINT-MINUS = CLEAN (no scuffs or scratches) CLEAR sounds when played
EXCELLENT-PLUS = Some scuffs but no scratches ~ Only the slightest noise
EXCELLENT = More scuffs but still no scratches ~ Sound is still good
EXCELLENT-MINUS = A few light scratches ~ Starting to pick up minimal noise
GOOD-PLUS = More scratches ~ Still very little noise
GOOD = Several scratches but does not POP ~ Noise is now noticeable to all
GOOD-MINUS = Some popping but no skipping ~ Noise is now heavier
FAIR = May skip slightly ~ Popping and Noise needs a FILTER!!!
POOR = At least you have a copy in your hand!!!

 

I'm giving you the OPTION of "cheaper" Media-Mail OR using Priority Mail. But in either case ... Insurance AND Delivery Confirmation is required ... and is the responsibility of the BUYER.
