Hi psychedelic singer-songwriter lovers,
Now a small batch with psychedelic singer-songwriter LP's. So this are the ones who mainly wrote their own music; this was not common in the early sixties, even Dylan covered a lot in his beginperiod. But later on in the sixties, musicians began to write & sing their own tracks. Remarkable on these LP's is that a psychedelic touch is added, which makes it all very delightful albums.
Secondly I have the debut LP of Jake Holmes for auction. Jake had already made a folk LP in the early sixties, which wasn't too exciting. With his two psychedelic LP's at the end of the sixties, he revanched himself in a fantastic way. Dazed? confused?, I guess Jimmy Page was, when he took this track from Jake. Obviously he had Jake seen playing in New York, while they were on tour with the New Yardbirds (later on Led Zeppelin). Great track though!
Vinyl looks Mint minus & plays Excellent (the Tower pressings weren't the best at that time). Cover is Excellent: has little seam-damage a bit left of the mid top-edge of the cover (see picture>zoom). Otherwise Mint minus.
My asking prices are about 75% of the average Ebay-prices for these kind of records. So here we go..
