Description
Interesting Federal release - full title: "Jamaica Souvenir of the 8th British Empire and Commonwealth Games 1966". Release number: Federal 100. Comprises some classic ska and calypso/mento. I'll list the full tracklisting here since information on this particular release is very hard to come by.

Sleeve is in VG+ condition, with some creasing and rubbing; also a small piece of sleeve has been rubbed down to cardboard below, and back top corner has a slightly sticky mark where a price ticket has been removed. Vinyl is also in VG+ condition, with a few marks and scratches, but nothing that is particularly noticeable on my turntable. This is an incredibly scarce Federal release, obviously made with a view to the tourist market, but of a much higher musical quality than the typical Jamaican souvenir album (not a sign of Byron Lee!) A fascinating artifact with some cracking selections. I am reluctantly selling this album due to money issues. Record will be packaged well and conscientously. Any questions, please ask.
