This is one of over 600 rare doo-wop, R&B and blues 45s that I'm going to be selling.
One of the greatest record covers ever!–as cool and sexy today as it was in 1959. James Brown's first EP featuring four of his earliest hits with his amazing young liquid voice at its spine-tingling best.
The front cover is clean with some minor scuffing and some color transfer, probably the result of rubbing against other records. But, as you can see from the photo, the effect is minimal. Back cover also in great shape with some surface smudging. No seam-splits, rips or stains.
The record labels, both sides, are almost spotless except for some slight ring wear and a little blip under the EP number on side one (photo). As for the vinyl, pretty clean, with some surface scratches that don't seem to affect play. This picture sleeve EP is always hard to find, especially in such fine condition!
