James Brown And The Famous Flames Try Me b/w Tell Me What I Did Wrong, Federal 45-12337 label variant 45" VG/VG+

Vintage 1958 45 rpm record entitled "Try Me b/w Tell Me What I Did Wring" performed by James Brown and the Famous Flames. Record is a label variant with a more narrow typeface than previous releases, pressed and distributed on the Federal label.
Sleeve is graded as VG+. Record is inside a vintage retail Federal sleeve which is in overall very good condition with some creasing and shelf wear. Sleeve is overall clean and intact.
Record has been cleaned and visually graded conservatively as VG/VG+. Record shows moderate surface wear on both sides. Vinyl is Black and reflective and appear to be in overall very good playing condition with some surface flaws.
OUR GRADING SCALE IS AS FOLLOWS:
G - Record will have noticeable to heavy surface and/or label wear (deep groove scratches, torn labels, multiple hairlines etc). Record is still playable, but heavy background noise ie. Static/Pops/Clicks are certain.
G+ - Record will have slightly less surface and/or label wear than a G grade. Vinyl is slightly reflective and the record will be visually in acceptable playing condition. Background noise ie. Static/Pops/Clicks are certain.
VG - Record will have moderate surface wear and/or minor label wear (medium hairlines, minor marking on labels, light scratches etc.) scattered background noise may be present.
VG+ - Record will have minimal surface wear and/or minor label wear (Small hairlines, minor label wear, faint scratches etc.) The record has definitely been played but has been well stored and cared for. A medium amount of background noise may or may not be present.
VG+/NM - Record will have little surface wear, but not enough to have a true NM grading. Vinyl will be reflective and visually in overall very good playing condition with minor surface wear to vinyl and/or labels (handful of minor hairlines, small amount of general surface wear etc.) A small amount of background noise may or may not be present. A majority of records in our stock carry this grade.
NM - Record shows almost no surface wear with clean labels and reflective vinyl (one or two small hairlines but no less). Record has been very well stored and cared for and is in almost like new condition with very little to no wear.
M - Our highest grading. This rating is reserved for sealed, unplayed records in brand-new condition
All of our records are cleaned and visually inspected under bright fluorescent light to ensure accurate grading.
