Description
Original 1961 James Brown Think! with 3 inch King letters. Absolutely one of the cleanest covers I have ever seen! I've seen these sell for $600 on EBay with covers that were beat so don't miss out in your chance to land this super rare copy!!!
The Cover: nearly flawless. Unbelievable for a 56 year old record. Front cover has a small crease in upper left corner (see pictures) that is thankfully almost unnoticeable given the color of the cover. Back cover nearly perfect - top left corner starting to slightly peel away and seam at very top left is slightly open (maybe an eighth of an inch). This is the cleanest example of this cover that I have ever seen!
The album: Visually a strong VG. Plays great as well!!! Both sides start off a little noisy on the run in grooves but then quiet down very nicely very quickly! Audible but not obnoxious surface noise in between tracks but nothing that hampers the music. Plays closer to VG plus during much of the record (especially if you have a mono switch on your receiver). Just listened to entire album in one sitting in mono and enjoyed every second!!
