Description
Mega Rare LP of James Clay & David Fathead Newman - Sound of the Wide Open Spaces (Riverside 12-327 - mono) Original blue labels (small) with reel and mic logos, Bill Grauer Productions New York City and Deep Groove rings on both sides - NOT a current re-issue! Extremely rare session features tenor masters Clay and Newman along with Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones and Art Taylor in a beyond-rare classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+/VG++ condition with a few marks that will make a bit of noise and with most if not all of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but still really really nice - still, you will hear a bit of noise on this one. The cover has general age/shelf wear, clear tape on the top seam, an old rubber stamp and a bit of writing on the back and sadly, some water damage visible on both the front and back cover. NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore in any condition?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments. I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $20.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for preferred payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
