Description

Offered here is a recording James Joyce reading "Anna Livia Plurabelle" from Finnegan's Wake. Recorded in 1929. The matrix No. is Cc17595 which is an HMV no. The only other info. on the label is The Orthological Institute, 10 King's Parade, Cambridge.  The record looks E.  It plays very clear but a bit dim. There are several postings of this on Youtube and the sound seems the same on all of them.
I have decided to sell of some spoken word recordings; some listed today and the rest tomorrow. I have played all of them all the way through using truncated elliptical stylii from Expert Stylus.
