Liberty 55522
Produced by legendary Mamas and Papas producer Lou Adler!
Condition Record: VG
With original Liberty sleeve!
Well, it's time to sell off my entire collection of Jan & Dean picture sleeves and 45's. I've enjoyed them but now it's time for someone else to have the fun. I'll be putting up the rest of my entire J&D collection in the near future.
Condition of record: VG and overall very clean. This is their rarest single probably because it was released right before Christmas time and it was'nt anywhere near a hit! There is ring wear on the labels of both sides. Various scratches and a couple of scuffs. She's Still Talking Baby Talk deadwax, the matrix "LB 1530 1A" and Frosty reads"LB 1530-1A".
I bought this record about 20 years ago for $125 (pre internet Ebay!). You might be able to pick this up for cheap as the auction ends Christmas night!
The record has been played on a high end McIntosh system with high treble to hear for scratches, tics, etc. Both sides play VG+ with very little surface noise and almost no annoying tics!!! Great sound. Classic Jan and Dean song. Great song! Hear both songs in glorious MONO! Don't go for that ugly remixed stereo junk on their NR'd to death CD's!
Please note that I grade to the strictest of Goldmine standards! I hate it when dealers and other sellers ameliorate the condition of their items, especially when I'm the buyer! And you know what? Most of them (99%) do it!
Shipping in the US will be UPS Media Mail for $5 and will be shipped in strong cardboad 45 mailers made by Bags Unlimited. Insurance will be optional (highly recommended). I will combine shipping on multiple wins. If you are not satisfied, return and I will provide a refund, provided that the item is received in exactly the same condition as when I mailed it. For overseas, shipping will be USPS airmail $10.
***Be on the watch out for some future exciting items including some great Fantastic Baggys stuff!***
