This is a pre-owned collectible.  Please note that I do not aim to satisfy the audiophiles and the elite collectors out there. 

I am not a professional record grader and I absolutely do not follow the "Goldmine" standard of grading.

The truth is that I honestly I do not know what I'm doing with records to grade them to those high standards.  I don't even have the expert high end audiophile equipment which they may have to even begin to properly grade a record by listening to it.

I am a simple humble collector and reseller.  I collect the bands I like and I do not aim to find perfect records.  Most flaws do not bother me.  In fact, I fully expect flaws when buying the lowest priced LPs on eBay.  I price my records the lowest as I expect fellow minded collectors to buy from me and the serious ones to avoid me.

With that in mind, I visually inspect the records and I give an honest opinion about them by what I see.  I'll say if I see scratches and wear and now badly it is, if it seems dusty or messy and need of a proper cleaning.  

I absolutely cannot comment if stuff has skips or has hiss, pops, static or whatever terms you throw at me as most of the records I resell I've not actually played.  Also stuff like that is effected by your own set up and turntable and stylus, etc., so it's a bit pointless for a simple collector with a cheap setup and no sonic record cleaning machine to even attempt to try to please an audiophile.

So yes, odds are heavy that the records I sell are not perfect.  They tend to have light scratches, hissing, pops and even a skip or two.  I will try my best to say what I have by merely looking at it and giving my honest opinion about it.  The idea here is to sell to other collectors like myself who doesn't mind a few flaws and not to sell to high quality demanding collectors.

With this in mind, I feel this record itself is in "VERY GOOD" shape by merely looking at it.  

"VERY GOOD" shape to me means it has a very small amount of light scratches.  It could be dusty, but shouldn't need a cleaning to remove grime.  It may still hiss, skip, pop and other things when played.  It's more of an indication of how pretty it looks rather than how well it plays.  

Basically with a VG record, you as an ordinary record buyer will probably be happy enough with it visually and how it plays as long as you are not very demanding for perfection and can tolerate a couple minor flaws and will clear any dust off. 

There should be a few images to back up what I'm seeing with the vinyl itself.  But please look at the images closely for the condition of the sleeve and inner sleeve as well as any other inserts.  Pictures often tell the story WAY better than I can when it comes to those things.  I will though typically mention if it smells heavily musty or smoky.
