Description
Here is a rare original LP from 1976 by Jancis Harvey, a singer from East Anglia who was knockin’ ‘em dead in UK folk clubs in the 1970’s.
If you like Sandy Denny, you’ll like Jancis Harvey.
Why she isn’t famous is beyond me, because she was VERY good.
“A Portrait Of Jancis Harvey” has a variety of songs, some are covers and others self-written. It’s on the obscure WESTWOOD label, catalogue number WRS 107. It’s in stereo and it was recorded in Wales.
Nick Biggins (some connection here with Steve Miller(?) and The Tea Set) is on Bass and her regular collaborator Clive Argent is on guitar.

This ASTONISHINGLY RARE album is in WONDERFUL condition.
The disc is clean and unblemished. It plays beautifully.
The sleeve is somewhat less lovely, but is clean and un-creased. There is a Cambridge address (Ms Harvey’s own?) written neatly in ball-point pen on the back (see photo).
It is VERY lovely, and startlingly difficult to find in any kind of condition.
This original 70's LP is as clean as a joke on “Children’s Hour”.
The record in the photograph is the record you will get.
