This is an original British Phonographic Institute platinum award for the Janet Jackson album Control.


Dating back to 1988 when it was presented to A&M Records Ltd London for the sales of over 300,000 units.


This is a genuine award unlike a lot of the fraudulent made to order awards for sale on eBay. This is the real deal and a must have for any Janet Jackson fan.

As this dates back to 1988 you will see that the Union Jack branding has faded due to age as expected.

BPI awards in the UK are still produced to this day by Century Displays.

Collection from Bilgola Northern Beaches or Pyrmont in the city is preferable so the glass is ensured not to be broken in transit, plus its heaps cheaper!
