Description

JANIS JOPLIN ~ BALL AND CHAIN

This is an alternative release of some of Janis Joplin's earliest recordings.  The record was published by Penguin Records in 1980.  This is a very rare first edition.  It is numbered as #406 out of a total of 500 copies (see picture).  There is a small one inch stain stain on the back (see picture) otherwise the cover is in VG(+) condition.  The cover picture of Janis is in lovely condition (see picture).  The vinyl is in excellent condition and appears unplayed.  I have only seen this record once.  You are unlikely to see it again and especially not in this condition.

(D) live at the avialon ballroom, san francisco in 1966 with big brorther and the holding company.
