Description

Here for auction: Janos Starker. Bach Cello Suites 2 & 5. 33CX 1515. ED1 original label's. Made in UK. EX/EX.Mono (no stereo issue).Matrices side 1 2N  side 2  1N.

I have checked parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 super with SME Mk III arm and B&O MMC II cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA Mark III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.

Vinyl is in easily EX condition.Very clean with a few only a couple of minor non sounding marks.Disc has a lovely shine and looks reallly good. There is a fairly minor scuff on the first band side 1 which is light and does not seem to have much/any effect on playback...Sound throughout is clear and undistorted and there were no repetetive tics in the parts played.Surfaces are pretty silent and any occasional crackle is minor and not significant.A really good copy of this rare Columbia mono.

Cover is also in easily EX condition. Still very decent.

Label's EX+ Could not see any spindle marks and no there are other marks or blemishes at all.

Oriinal inner sleeve is EX
