BRAHMS: Sonatas for Cello and Piano:
No.1 in E minor, Op.38
No.2 in F major, Op.99
Nixa Records PLP 593 UK-1950s
12" mono LP WEIGHT: 408 grams
Janos Starker - violoncello
Abba Bogin - piano
Original UK Nixa mono label.
In original inner sleeve.
The Nixa item is in at least a very good state. There is a slightly corrupted label, on the B side but this is a manufacturer fault, NOT wear and tear.
The vinyl is very thick and heavy but the sound quality is remarkably good: clean, with some light clicking ( more noticeable on side 2-side 1 seems exceptionally free). There are absolutely no jumps, or skips and no strenuous marks, although light surface marks are evident, here and there. It is housed in the original poly bag.
The sleeve is in a lovely condition, with no real evidence of ringwear to the front and only a hint on the back. The flipback is firmly fixed. Yellowing is evident.
Bruch 9500 423 & Bruch 9500 950.
BOTH OF THESE ARE NEAR MINT, WHITE LABEL
