January Tyme First Time From Memphis SEALED 1970 LP on Enterprise psych vinyl NR

January Tyme - First Time From Memphis LP (NOT cd), released in either 1969 or '70 on Enterprise, ENS 1004, stereo. Personnel: January Tyme - Percussion, Keyboards, Vocal/Allen Cooley - Drums, Vocals/Steve Ciantro - Bass/William Brancaccio - Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard, Vocals/Anthony (Mony) Izzo - Lead Guitar, Vocals. LP was produced by Billy Fox. Album was Co-ordinated (their spelling!) by Jimmy Ienner. I know nothing about this band, so I did a search on the 'net and found this: January Tyme was a New York band formed around the vocal work of Janis Joplin-wannabe January Tyme. This is in-your-face rock blues like Janis Joplin or Grace Slick but with a lot more edge and distorted guitar. The only album by this group is a definite must-have. Falling somewhere between Jefferson Airplane and Big Brother and the Holding Company style of music, the band failed to establish their own identity. Despite their songwriting competence and energetic performance on the 11 songs on this album, January Tyme faded into rock obscurity.

This LP is SEALED! Not a cut-out! LP appears to be factory sealed, as it's sealed on the bottom edge, and along the top, left, and right edges on the back. Shrinkwrap has one or two tiny breath holes. Love that back cover!

LP is SEALED! LP jacket has some wear, nothing crazy. A couple of corner tips are exposed from the shrinkwrap - the corner tips have a little wear. Corners have a couple of tiny creases. Front cover has a 1 1/4" line impression at the mouth (toward the bottom), a few small, slight creases along the bottom edge, 5/8" crease in the bottom left corner, a couple of 1/2"-3/4" creases at & along the spine. There IS a very, very slight crease from top to bottom on the front cover, maybe 1 1/2"-1 3/4" from the spine. It's VERY faint, you have to look for it. Back cover has a few very small, slight creases along the right edge, 3/4" crease in the bottom right corner, some slight creasing along the bottom edge, some slight ridges/creases at the left edge, and there's a slight crease across the jacket, almost 3/4" down from the top edge, which is nothing unusual with LP jackets. Minor flaws. Nothing drastic. LP is SEALED! Cool!

All LP's come shipped in polybagged sleeves. I know, big deal, but I do this for extra protection.
