Description

  • Near mint RCA Victor Living Stereo Shaded Dog LP of Sibelius’ "Violin Concerto In D Minor" (RCA LSC-2435, 1s/1s Indiana stampers).
  • This 1960 LP features Jascha Heifetz with The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Walter Hendl, conductor.
  • This has long been on the TAS (The Absolute Sound) super disk list of classical recordings of special merit. The album was produced by John Pfeiffer and engineered by Lewis Layton.
  • The glossy LP looks and plays near mint ( I do not rate opened LPs as mint). The cover is near mint with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts. A name is discreetly stamped in one back corner and there is a small discolored spot in another back corner (likely from a removed price tag).
