Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 5028, Jay Jay Johnson Sextet, an original mono deep groove, Lexington Ave. label issue of this classic recording with the ear (p) mark in the dead wax. The record is in G condition showing many marks on both sides. I did not play grade it because of the condition. The cover has significant edge wear with a 2" split on the spine and a 3" split on the bottom seam,and some ring wear but has no writing. The labels have spindle marks but are intact. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and visually graded. This is an initial "play" grade copy of this wonderful original Blue Note record. The record will be shipped with both an inner and outer sleeve. I don't usually offer records in this condition but I think the rarity of the piece should create some interest.
