You know the story on this one, right?
Matador Records released a series of six 7" records by Jay Reatard.
Each new record in the series was significantly more limited than one before it.
This, the 6th and final record, "No Time" b/w "You Were Sleeping" was limited to only 400 copies.
There were 4 editions of 100 copies each.
This copy is on CLEAR VINYL and features a photograph of a strip mall (?) glued to the picture sleeve.
As mentioned, there were only 100 of this edition made.
Each cover is actually unique, in the fact that:
1.) The photograph was glued on by hand. 2.) The sticker was applied manually. 3.) The vinyl record's label is handstamped.
No two copies were made the same!!!!!
I doubt that any of these were even really available to the general public.
I was on the Matador pre-order list for these... I pre-ordered 30 copies of each record. For the first record in the series, Matador shipped all 30 copies. Then on each following release, they shipped me less and less. They shipped me only of these!!!!!
As soon as I got them, I scanned a picture of both and put 'em in sealable plastic sleeves... I never even listened to either copy!
