You are bidding on a original AUTOGRAPHED Reatards 2003 LP on Empty Records which is now long out of print and contains rare songs not available anywhere else. This is a pink vinyl edition of only 100 copies, and the label Empty is now out of business leaving this artifact of modern punk out of print. These are original demo recordings from 1998-99. Includes original insert, and vinyl is in excellent condition, sleeve has one slightly bent corner. The real reason to own this LP is that it contains a certified original autograph from Jay Reatard himself, including an upside down cross and a VERY crude comment on his precise personal slant on modern race relations. Its the N-word, folks and if you can't handle it, just look away. If you are weak of heart or easily offended by colorful language, beware!! 100% authentic.
Original first pressing of 100 on PINK vinyl!! "With the fall of the Lost Sounds, Jay is back in business with the Reatards. Started at the tender age of 16, the Reatards left a path of broken disco balls and pissed off promoters across the US and Europe. Here we have more tasty vintage Reatards recordings to complement last years "Bedroom Disasters". This was the record the Reatards started recording as their second full length release. Recorded on a broken 4 track this was scrapped when a new lineup was realized with Rich joining on drums and Sean (of The Feelers) on bass. Now the "lost second record" is finally seeing the light of day. You might recognize a few of these songs in different form from "Grown Up" or some of Jay's other projects but something about these recordings sounds as frantic and urgent 6 years later as the day they were recorded.
