Stunning 5 LP boxed set featuring all the greats of American Jazz - Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Modern Jazz Quartet, Wes Montgomery, Dave Brubeck, Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Count Basie & Duke Ellington.
It also includes a 12 page illustrated booklet featuring each artist and their history.
All of the 5 LPs are in Very Good++ (VG++) condition.
The sound quality is superb. There is no sign of wear or surface imperfections of any kind.
Unfortunately the box itself has some damage and staining in places (see photos) and is classified as Good (G) only.
These ratings are based on the Goldmine Music Collectors Magazine grading guide i.e.Vinyl - VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
A good description of a VG+ record is “except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.” Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++).
